A BIRTHDAY GIFT | HAMILTON

As a birthday gift for their mother, these handsome guys got to share how they feel about mom…well, the little guy needed some help but we know how he really feels . These three shots were made into wonderful framed prints, and given to mom–she was so happy to get them!

If anyone else ever has any special requests, feel free to ask…if you have any ideas for a special occasion, I’d love to hear them and see how I can help.

And a series like this is never complete without some outtakes…taking pictures with kids is great fun, and always has some wonderful “extras”. After we were done with the “serious” stuff, they got to get out the pirate swords and super hero gear .

The Charles Family

I had the great pleasure of working with the Charles family this last weekend…great people, great weather, and a great time had by all! We took advantage of some of the great scenery the Bitterroot Valley has to offer, with two locations for some variety. Everybody had a great time, myself included. Thanks guys, you look great!

Mother and Child | Hamilton

Some of my favorite images I’ve created are of a mother and child. There’s something beautiful and emotionally compelling about those images; a reminder of how we all come into this world, and the bond that we share with the person who brought here. Infants can be a special challenge to shoot, but the results are worth it–preserving memories of that time in a child’s life is priceless. Here’s a few from a recent shoot…

Kris and Kollin | Portraits

Kids can be some of the most fun (and challenging ) subjects to photograph. Here you can see the results that you would typically hang on the wall…a couple of handsome kids looking little guys.

But that doesn’t tell the whole story… In order to get a couple of 8x10s to hang on the wall, I inevitably have to take…shall we say, a couple of extra shots . Click through the gallery below to see some of the outtakes. For me, these are just priceless, and will be treasured at least as much (if not more) than the ones everyone sits the kids down get.
